The Community Changing Fund, Inc. ('CCF') Was created in 11/21/2021 in the mist of the COVID-19 pandemic to encourage communities in Brownsville Brooklyn New York to sit with community, figure out root issues and together create solutions, and implement them to bring about change to enhance community safety. The Community Changing Fund, Inc. ('CCF') Was created in 11/21/2021 in the mist of the COVID-19 pandemic to encourage communities in Brownsville Brooklyn New York to sit with community, figure out root issues and together create solutions, and implement them to bring about change to enhance community safety. The Co-Founders, along with community partners directly intervened to prevent gang violence and equip community members with skills to avert senseless gun-violence. Ninety percent of CCF's total time is allocated to the activity, and ten percent of CCF's total time is allocated to seeking funding for the activity. The activity is funded through grants and individual contributions. The activity furthers CCF's exempt purpose by implementing violence interruption programs in black and brown communities that have experienced decades of gun and gang violence. Programs will give young people and others skills and opportunities to avoid gang involvement.
